Job Summary

AECOM has an exciting opportunity for an Aircraft Mechanic III, Crew lead position to support the Regional Aviation Sustainment Management-Central (RASM-C) contract located at Fort Polk, LA.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Fosters a safety-first culture by adopting a lead-by-example mindset.

  • Utilizes internal and external assets to maintain production flow and executes recovery plans as necessary.

  • Coordinates team needs with input from site manager, fellow crew leads, and off-site production control manager.

  • Maintains compliance with ground and flight operations procedures.

  • Reports and briefs aircraft statuses to senior management and production control.

  • Maintains training for assigned team.

  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License is required. UH-72, EC135, EC145 or BO105 experience preferred.

  • Completion of U.S. military tactical aircraft maintenance or U.S. military technical school is desired.

  • Ability to develop and maintain required relationships with customers, and the ability to work with technical staff to ensure successful results.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to prioritize workload to meet project delivery schedule.

  • Must have a valid state driver’s license and ability to operate vehicles on military installations.
