Job Summary

  • Directs and manages the entire project, guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and acts as a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.

  • Accountable for all facets of the project and constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.

  • Overall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout.

  • Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related field

  • 10+ years of project management experience in architecture experience covering all aspects of building design – survey, design development, construction documents, construction administration

  • AECOM PM Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire

  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, are highly motivated and detail oriented with a strong background managing complex client development programs

  • Well organized and adept at multi-tasking working with master agreements and multiple task orders

  • Ability to manage and or direct project staff

  • Must be proficient in AutoCad 2010 (or higher version) and Revit experience is preferred

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidate will be required to document and present work in a clear and concise manner

  • Excellent technical and relationship building skills are required

  • Must be able to work well with clients, staff and consultants

  • Must possess a valid driver’s licenses

Preferred Qualifications

  • RA or PE License

  • Strong knowledge of American Disabilities Act/American Barriers Act

  • Management experience on BIM projects highly desirable

  • Experience working in large and complex projects/programs

  • Experience with government agencies/projects

  • Understanding of the pre-development efforts associated with civic and government buildings

  • Management experience with P3, Design Build and other Alternative Delivery projects
