Management of design activities of various airport systems including Voice and Data Cabling (VDC), Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) System, Access Control System (ACS), Airport Network, Flight Information Display System (FIDS), CUTE/CUSS and the associated System Interfaces with other contracts for a new airport concourse
Client management, including attending design coordination meetings and workshops with the client and/or government department representatives
Preparing and presenting system design concepts and options to the client
Coordination of design input from various parties, including other internal team members and external consultants
Developing technical performance specifications, drawings and design reports for airport systems design
Enforce ethics and compliance policy including Third Party payment, Sub-consultancy engagement process and Gift and Entertainment policy.
Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science, or other related University Degree
Minimum 8 years’ hands-on experience as a Designer or Lead employed by a consultant/contractor, airport operator, airline or airline agent who is directly involved in aviation work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese speaking is an advantage
Technical knowledge in various IT and electronic systems employed in airports
Good appreciation of the airport operations business and technical understanding of the operation of passenger processing and information display systems
Knowledge in Building Information Modelling (BIM)
Attentive to detail, broad-minded and practical thinker
Enforce ethics and compliance policy including Third Party payment, Sub-consultancy engagement process and Gift and Entertainment policy
Candidate with less experience would be considered as a Senior Engineer / Project Engineer.
