Nuclear Waste Partnership, an LLC of AECOM, is seeking an experienced
Maintenance Subcontract Technical Representative in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
The successful candidate will manage NWP maintenance projects, manage various service contracts as assigned, attend contractor briefings/planning meetings, review, request, and route contractor submittals for approval, coordinate contractor support requirements between NWP departments, assist in scheduling work through the T-0, T-1 and POD, and all other activities required to support safe and compliant execution of construction activities and service contracts on the WIPP Site. The selected candidate will acquire the PSTR qualification and pass an oral board within 12 months of assuming the job. Must have strong communication skills, proven ability to form and lead teams of diverse technical backgrounds to conduct assessments and be clearly document results. The candidate must have clear understanding of safety requirements that pertain to maintenance activities. The candidate must be a self-starter and motivated execute assigned work activities.
Bachelor’s degree with two (2) years of experience managing/supervising construction projects, service contracts, and/or maintenance/repair activities, or
Associates degree with six (6) years of experience managing/supervising construction projects, service contracts, and/or maintenance/repair activities, or
High School Diploma or GED with ten (10) years of experience managing/supervising construction projects, service contracts, and/or maintenance/repair activities is required.
Due to the nature of work, candidates must be US Citizens.
Ten (10) years in a construction, maintenance, or project management field.
Previous experience working at a nuclear and/or DOE facility.
OSHA 30, Applicable Safety Certificates and/or other industry specific training.
