Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Client Services Manager in our Atlanta Ga office. This position will lead business development for our water/ wastewater/ stormwater business in Georgia. This position requires a keen understanding of the Georgia market, specifically in Atlanta and the surrounding communities. The individual should understand state and local regulations as well as the current and potential market drivers for this area.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Implementation of AECOM’s Water business development and growth strategies in the Greater Atlanta and Georgia area

  • Works with existing team to establish a strategy for continued growth

  • Identifies key resources in the marketplace to build a team for long term success

  • Serves as Client Services Manager for major clients.

  • Leads project manager, engineers, and technical staff in executing and delivering all AECOM Water Business Line services to identified key clients

  • Builds upon a culture of inclusions, diversity established in the Georgia Water Business

  • Fosters an environment of collaboration

  • Adheres to established project and safety principles

  • Ensures excellence in Project Management and Project Delivery

  • Incorporates AECOM’s worldwide technical excellence and expertise into delivery of services for local clients

  • Key performance indicators: Safety, margin, Utilization, Staff Retention, and Growth

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related engineering discipline

  • 10+ years of experience as PE/PM executing and managing delivery of consulting engineering services for municipal and county water/wastewater/stormwater utilities

  • Meet the minimum criteria to obtain Professional Engineer registration in the State of Georgia

  • Experience in the successful management of business financials for engineering and consulting contracts, specifically for municipal government agencies and clients

  • Team building experience and conflict resolution skills

  • Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with technicians, designers, engineers, project managers, and marketing specialists for the preparation of high quality work products, including proposals

  • Must have strong verbal and written communication and listening skills

  • Ability to travel

  • Must possess a valid Driver’s license and be able to drive rental vehicles on behalf of the company

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline

  • 5+ years’ experience working in the metropolitan Atlanta area for water/wastewater/stormwater utilities
