As a member of the Total Rewards team, this team member will be involved in developing and maintaining technology solutions to support the HR community. Activities including programming, research, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, or any other activities that result in technology solutions development. The position will be responsible for applying analytic processes to improve employee performance and productivity, increase predictive measures, and achieve a higher return on investment. This position will assist in implementation and administration of employee compensation programs, such as salaries, short- and long-term incentives, job evaluations, performance appraisals, salary increases, and salary surveys. May be a part of the Global COE, support a specific business, or be a member of a shared service center.
Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years of related experience.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Excel a must - VBA programming experience not required (but a plus)
Interest and enthusiasm to learn and understand VBA program is required

Strong data modeling experience
Can write and edit VBA, create data queries, formula arrays, nested IFs, index match functions, SUMIFs, AVERAGEIFs, COUNTIFs, etc.
Basic understanding of computer programming; loops, variables, conditions, etc.
Ability to manage and maintain tables and various databases
Experience working with SQL based queries is a plus
Experience with Power Query is a plus
Must have the aptitude to learn new technical tools required for the role
Develops solutions based upon a defined specification and test plan
Participates in department code reviews
Performs unit testing of their work
Completes work based upon the project schedule
Works with the quality assurance tester to resolve any problems
Participates in team design meetings
Establishes computerized administration systems and databases to effectively administer these programs
Receives moderate supervision on new aspects of assignments
Exercises moderate judgment on compensation-related areas
Under general supervision, plans and develops compensation projects with unique or controversial problems that have an important effect on major organization issues
Directs the design and administration of various employee compensation and programs including, but not limited, to salary administration, job evaluation, performance appraisal, merit and other salary increases, incentive plans, compensation communication, compensation policy development and administration, and work-life programs, etc.
Advises managers on fair and competitive pay levels
Makes recommendations regarding salary grades or market rates for specific jobs and assists in the development of incentive programs and the administration of performance review or merit-rating programs
Reviews salary increases for compliance with company policy and budget
Maintains liaison with individuals and units within or outside COE to ensure compliance with regulations or laws
As a staff specialist, serves as the technical specialist for the compensation group.
Receives essentially administrative supervision, with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits
Performs most assignments independently with instruction on the general expected results.
As an individual contributor, conceives, plans and conducts consultation in areas of considerable scope and complexity
