Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking an Archives Media Specialist to provide Image Capture Support to DoD Government Customer. The position will be located in Springfield, VA.

Essential Responsibilities: Please list what the candidate will be doing in this position

  1. Assist in the conversion of records from paper to electronic media

  2. Conduct document preparation, scan hard copy files into electronic images, and then convert to PDF or TIFF files

  3. Provide Archival/Scanning support to AECOM and Government Customers utilizing various Software Programs

  4. Utilize appropriate software to archive records

  5. Must have working knowledge of applicable Microsoft Office software and have the ability to learn and utilize various scanning and CD-ROM programs.

  6. Train other employee(s) in job requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • High School or GED is required with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: working in a group environment, working either independently or under minimal supervision, working in a fluid setting.

  • Must have a minimum or DOD Interim Secret clearance and this position requires the ability to pass and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Good oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of applicable Microsoft Office Software, have the ability to learn and utilize various scanning and CD-ROM programs, and have strong organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required
