Job Summary
AECOM has an exciting opportunity for an Aircraft Mechanic III, Crew lead position to support the Regional Aviation Sustainment Management-Central (RASM-C) contract located at Fort Polk, LA.
Essential Responsibilities:
Fosters a safety-first culture by adopting a lead-by-example mindset.
Utilizes internal and external assets to maintain production flow and executes recovery plans as necessary.
Coordinates team needs with input from site manager, fellow crew leads, and off-site production control manager.
Maintains compliance with ground and flight operations procedures.
Reports and briefs aircraft statuses to senior management and production control.
Maintains training for assigned team.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License is required. UH-72, EC135, EC145 or BO105 experience preferred.
Completion of U.S. military tactical aircraft maintenance or U.S. military technical school is desired.
Ability to develop and maintain required relationships with customers, and the ability to work with technical staff to ensure successful results.
Excellent organizational and communication skills to prioritize workload to meet project delivery schedule.
Must have a valid state driver’s license and ability to operate vehicles on military installations.
