Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance Systems (ISRS) is a cornerstone of Raytheon's sensing domain expertise and innovation. ISRS designs, develops, produces and supports a vast array of electro-optical/infrared sensors, active electronically scanned array/scanning radars, and various integrated systems solutions to provide customers with actionable information for strike, persistent surveillance, and special mission applications.

Within ISRS, the Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) department has a need for a Forest Transition Lead / Technical Knowledge Transfer Lead (Senior Manager Systems Engineering)

JOB SUMMARY


The strong leader will be a self-starting that can quickly come up to speed and facilitate the transition of resources and knowledge to a new manufacturing location.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Bringing online multiple integration and test laboratories, training plan establishment, and execution of resources that will make the transfer successful
  • Coordinate with Operations, Quality, Contracts, Engineering, and Management to ensure consistent artifacts and product quality between the current and build-out sites.
  • Leadership/coordination between Production and Tech Refresh impacts to products and equipment in included in the job tasking
This position can be located in Forest MS or Dallas area (with 20% travel to Forest).

Required Skills
  • Minimum of 12 years of professional engineering experience in the aerospace/defense industry
  • Broad technical knowledge of RADAR or similar sensor technologies
  • Proven experience as a leader, supervisor or manager of a team of experienced engineers
  • Proven teaming skills and the ability for rapid assimilation of information
  • Experience operating in a very dynamic integration and test environment
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills within and outside immediate job function (written and verbal)
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance day one of employment and the ability to obtain additional clearances

Desired Skills
  • Demonstrated experience as a Chief Engineer and/or Program Manager and/or Control Account Management (CAM)
  • Experience operating in a very dynamic integration and test environment
  • Excellent communication skills within and outside immediate job function (written and verbal) and ability to effectively communicate and present to various levels
  • Ability to travel 60% of the time

Required Education
  • Bachelor’s (BS) Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited institution (i.e. Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Physics, etc.)

Desired Education
  • Masters’ (MS) Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited institution (i.e. Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Physics, etc.)
