AECOM is actively recruiting an
Engineer to provide Engineering Management/Systems Engineering (SE) support to Team Submarine (PEO(SUBS)). The position is located on the Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC.
Perform a range of design development, analysis, and review tasks independently.
Coordinate and work closely with other engineering, logistics, financial, and program management disciplines to define system specifications and requirements.
Develop, maintain, and produce technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications.
Intimate familiarity with requirements of DoDI 5000 series publications.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to coordinate with government and industry teams.
Project management related experience.
Document staffing and familiarity with Department of Navy and Department of Defense correspondence policies.
Strong System’s Engineering and Engineering Management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related scientific field
5-10 years of Engineering work experience
2-4 years of Project Management experience
Two years of job-related experience may be substituted for each year of college.
An active Government Security Clearance at the SECRET level, or above.
Experience with Agile software development
Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps development
Experience with development of Program Protection Plans (PPP), Anti-Tamper (AT) Plans, and Security Classification Guides (SCG)
Experience with PEO(SUB), or other DoD, acquisition programs
Project Management Institute - Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Experience with Risk Management processes and programs
