Works under general direction.
Performs complex CADD assignments and coordinates CADD drawing production in support of the CADD manager.
Performs advanced applications, scale and edit assignments involving the use of
computer aided design and drafting equipment and other graphics software (e.g. CADD software) to achieve set results and deadlines.
Digitize or trace sketches or concepts from designers using CADD software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.
Decisions made with general understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines.
Responsible for setting own project deadlines.
Understands the implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments.
May lead less experienced drafters.
BA/BS + 6 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education
Strong proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D and REVIT
Proficiency in AutoCAD and plan set assembly
Must have experience developing alignments, profiles, surface modeling, cross sections, grading design and drainage design
Must have experience completing project drawings within scope, budget and schedule
Must have experience managing plan sets for large projects
Experience managing data references throughout the duration of projects, from preliminary design and alternative analysis to final design and construction
Sound structural detailing experience.
Knowledge of steel members and concrete reinforcement detailing.Design for municipal infrastructure including pump stations, water and wastewater treatment plants using Revit and AutoCAD
Prepare process mechanical detailed design drawings
MicroStation InRoads and OpenRoads experience
