The Strategic Pursuits (SP) Sr. Program Manager is responsible for providing leadership and oversight for strategic capture activities and cross-product line growth initiatives in the Maritime & Littoral Systems (MLS) Product Line within the ISRS-STS organization located in McKinney, TX. The SP Sr. PM will manage Strategic Pursuits to include DoD and International customer interface, Statement of Work and Requirements shaping, defining capture strategies, and ensuring proposals are prepared and approved through the correct leadership channels. The SP Sr. PM will also manage cross-product line growth initiatives to include optimized proposal process and consolidated sustainment/repair processes. The SP Sr. PM is responsible for meeting financial commitments (bookings, early execution of captures, reduced new business expenditures); exercising program management best practices, collaborating with new customers, developing roadmaps and plans on strategic pursuits. The MLS SP Sr. PM will be responsible for developing and executing a growth strategy that leverages current product offerings along with new technology and manufacturing developments that provide improved performance and lower cost for both domestic and international customers. Includes consideration of exportability and expansion into the international market place.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Ongoing customer engagements and contracting multiple programs to meet AOP Goals
  • Interface with senior personnel across multiple DoD services and defense industry partners as well as International stakeholders
  • Provide leadership support to the ATFLIR export strategy development and execution

Required Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of combined professional working experience in Program Management, Capture Management, or Engineering Management
  • Proven experience in development, production, and life cycle sustainment
  • Strong background and experience in program management techniques (full Profit & Loss responsibilities), working in a matrixed environment, customer engagement, proposals and growing the business
  • Proven demonstration of leadership competencies, especially influential communications, strategic thinking, cultivating innovation, collaboration, developing talent, customer focus, and driving results
  • Must obtain Program Management Certification (at least level 4) within 6 months of assignment, in accordance with RP-248
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to access US only data systems

Desired qualifications:
  • Level 3 PM certification (or equivalent experience)
  • Earned Value certification, including formal DoD reporting
  • MBA or Advanced Technical Degree preferred
  • EOIR system domain knowledge

Required education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Science or related discipline

This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
