Job Description:
This is an opportunity to join the Battlefield Radar (BFR) of Tactical Radars Product Area under Mission Systems and Sensors Business Unit.
The AN/MPQ-64 Sentinel Radar provides persistent air surveillance and fire control quality data through command and control systems to defeat Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), cruise missiles and fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft threats. The Sentinel Radar Currently sold to the US Army as well as a foreign variant sold to numerous foreign customers.
As a Sentinel Program Financial Manager. You will lead the management of cost control, schedule and EVMS compliance, and financial forecasting and execution of BFR programs. As the Finance Manager you will be a key member of the Program Leadership Team and lead and influence the various IDS and IOT Execution Teams. The selected individual will be responsible for all aspects of Business Management and oversight of finance activities including review of Earned Value reporting, EAC’s, monthly forecasts and LREs, and AOP/Five Year Plan for the Program. The individual is critical to the successful execution of a critical schedule and cost sensitive, challenging FFP Program and it’s follow on Production Options and CFRs. The selected candidate must be able to work under deadlines and constraints as well as have the ability to multitask across a variety of tasks and work with all levels of the organization. Position requires the ability to provide top level program planning and control guidance as well as the ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of management as well as execute hands on with a very lean finance team. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
·Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) implementation and maintenance ·Monthly variance and data analysis ·Quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development
·Baseline establishment and maintenance
·Maintain program logs (MR,UB, BCRs, etc.)
·Provide financial guidance to Program Managers, IPT leads, and Cost Account Managers (CAMs)
Candidate will work in a challenging and fast paced team environment. Frequent interaction with various functions and multiple levels of leadership (both internally and externally) will require the successful candidate to use their strong presentation and communication skills, and be able to operate successfully across multiple geographic locations and diverse performing organizations.
BFR Program is based in Fullerton, CA. This candidate will be required work at the Fullerton site.

Required Skills:

  • 6 years applicable work experience in Financial
    ·Management and Program Controls
    ·Experience at a Lead Level with Earned Value Management Principles and Processes or similar systems
Desired Skills:
  • Experience using PMX to generate BCR’s / SWA’s / VAR’s/ Prism (Material)
  • Experience overseeing Fixed Price Programs ·Experience on projects and programs with significant IOT content
  • Experience with current DoD regulations associated with FAR/DFARS/TINA/CAS ·Hands-On experience with SAP EV / PMX Toolset
  • Ability to multi task and work on several different program issues concurrently
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both verbally and in written form Inquisitive (and acts on it) with strong analytical and mathematical skills ·Strong self-initiative

Required Education (including Major):

  • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics,
    Business Management or related business field.
