Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity in technical planning and scheduling management?
The successful candidate will partner with Program Managers, Capture Managers and program teams in analyzing their IMS plans through Monte Carlo schedule risk analyses and IMS optimization processes. They will be responsible for understanding SRA theory and execution (process, techniques, tools) ensuring programs maintain compliance to internal and external requirements and guiding planners and program teams through the SRA process: from assessing IMS readiness for analysis, facilitating risk identification and data collection, validating inputs and interpreting outputs, and providing actionable feedback for derisking the schedule. Additionally, the candidate will have opportunities to facilitate MPS and/or IMS development and optimization sessions utilizing reverse/pit stop planning techniques with program teams during capture, startup and execution phases. As the need arises, the successful candidate may be required to support general planning-related assignments.

This position is results-oriented and focused on consistently exceeding customer expectations while developing strong, trusting customer relationships. The individual must be able to engage quickly and drive initiatives to completion from the initial request for support through transition of completion artifacts and ownership to the planner and program team. The ability to listen, respond, and facilitate discussions appropriately to and between others and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, across functions and among diverse teams is essential.
This position will be located in Tewksbury, MA.



Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Six (6) years of Program Planning & Scheduling experience
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Project experience, including Microsoft Project Server
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process
  • Demonstrated knowledge in assisting Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in planning, scheduling and cost estimating tasks
  • Demonstrated experience with MS Office suite products


Desired Qualifications:

  • Eight (8) plus years of professional experience in Program Planning & Scheduling
  • Demonstrated ability to balance technical/cost/schedule constraints to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrated experience with Risk and Opportunity Management
  • Raytheon Six Sigma (R6S) Specialist or similar certification
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Integrated Product Development System (IPDS)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI)
  • Understanding of the capture, proposal and startup processes
  • Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and diverse teams
  • Familiarity with the structure of customer documents such as the RFP, Contract, SOW, etc.
  • Proficient in critical path analysis and root cause analysis
  • An understanding of basic program life cycle, integration flows, IPDS and risk processes
  • MBA

Required Education: Bachelor Degree from an accredited university or college in Electrical/Mechanical/Systems or other engineering discipline or science related major.
