The Senior Industrial Security Specialist will provide Security support to multiple programs to ensure contractual and NISPOM compliance. The successful candidate will: administer all aspects of the information management system for the protection of classified material; oversee the classification management function to include issuance of sub-contractor DD 254s; interface with Raytheon program personnel regularly and government personnel as required; participate in Security program self-inspections and government security assessments as required; conduct administrative briefings (closed area, security container, local courier) and access briefings (NATO, CNWDI) when required; and process foreign classified visit requests through established channels.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day One of Employment.


Required Skills

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Industrial Security
  • Experience interacting with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) representatives
  • Working knowledge of the NISPOM and ISLs
  • Experience working with the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) for security tasks such as personnel clearance verification, classified visit certifications, and JPAS incident reporting
  • Experience processing facility information in the National Industrial Security System (NISS)
  • Experience maintaining an information management system for the control of classified material
  • Experience interpreting security guidance on DD254s and issuing subcontractor DD254s
  • Experience working in an environment requiring minimal supervision
  • Experience conducting administrative and required access briefings and debriefings
  • Willingness to travel on company business
  • Must possess a Valid Driver’s License
  • Proficiency in common business software (Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Desired Skills:
  • Working knowledge of the Access Commander, Perspective Incident Management, and Visitor Registration System programs
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to display tact, discretion and diplomacy when interacting with employees and site management
  • Knowledge of Diamond II for alarm management, employee and non-employee badge printing/encoding
Required Education:
  • High School Diploma and 12 years directly related working experience or
  • Associate's Degree and 8 years directly related working experience or
  • Bachelor’s Degree 4 years directly related working experience or
  • Master’s Degree and 2 years of directly related working experience
