KBR is currently seeking a Senior Operations Support Specialist to join our team in the Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland location in support of the Project Manager Distributed Common Ground System – Army (PM DCGS-A) contract.

The company operates through three segments: Government Services, Technology, and Hydrocarbons Services. This role will support our Government Services segment, which offers life-cycle support solutions to defense, space, aviation, and other programs and missions for military and other government agencies in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. This segment's services include research and development, test and evaluation, program management and consulting, mission planning, operational and platform support, logistics and facilities, training, and security.

Job Description:

• Provide facilitation services in collaboration efforts, working groups, or teams
• Tracking special duty and ad hoc actions
• Coordinating facilities management
• Assisting with security functions
• Participating in recurring meetings
• Submitting requests or tickets for service
• Writing and updating scenarios for operational planning and emergency preparedness
• Preparing quarterly/annual reports
• Participating in IPTs and coordination meetings
• Attending and assisting the PM in high level meetings
• Safeguarding and delivering Government material
• Coordinating and aligning meetings
• Preparing meeting minutes
• Transporting VTC equipment and ensure VTC connectivity for PM DCGS-A
• Developing materials or presenting training for professional development

Qualifications

Skills and Detailed Experience Required:

• A minimum of twelve (12) years’ experience managing government programs required
• Direct experience with development and management of IMS for technical programs
• Includes experience with technical program management, scheduling, trade-off analysis, risk management, supportability, test and evaluation, and requirements
• Must include eight (8) years direct experience with verbal and written communication to include presentations and/or briefings to product managers, division chiefs or equivalent grade

Education:

• Bachelor’ Degree in Business, Accounting, or related degree
• Master’s Degree and ten (10) or more years of related experience may be substituted for required experience

Additional Qualifications:

• Security Clearance required: Secret
• Detail-oriented with technical, verbal, and written communication skills
