Manager – Equipment Maintenacne (with EVT Certification)

Responsible for providing a safe, reliable, and cost effective product to KBR and the customer with the qualifications, technical knowledge, experience and skills required for efficient operations within the BSVE function. Ensures that equipment meets company, governmental, and customer requirements. Establishes preventive maintenance program and coordinates maintenance support for all locations with Bahrain. Utilizes KBR processes and programs to develop strategies for maintenance efficiencies, develops processes to ensure compliance with equipment related government and KBR regulations, develops technical training courses for employees, and coordinates preventive maintenance and repairs. Calculates future workloads and plans manpower needs for service delivery equipment. Typically requires 3-5 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance function.

Possess a minimum of EVT I certification, training and requisite experience to include Maintenance, Inspection and Testing of Fire Apparatus and Design & Performance Standards of Fire apparatus. Perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, diagnoses, and performance testing in accordance with NFPA and shall be capable of performing heavy vehicle maintenance on commercial and military design firefighting vehicles and equipment. Activities include inspection, diagnostics, repair, replace, and rebuild of components and assemblies. Must have troubleshooting skills on various makes/models PIERCE, CONTENDER/ OSHKOSH, T3000 & T1500/ FREIGHTLINER/EMERGENCY ONE/KME. Must have 1-2 years of first-hand experience identifying and ordering of critical parts to designated sites and submits requisitions to replace special bench stock. Submits and tracks parts and supply requisitions for fire assigned vehicles and critical equipment.

Follow the recommended manufacturer maintenance schedule and ensure all vehicles are maintained in accordance with the schedule. Will promote teamwork and actively participate in quality improvement process, as well as promoting safety awareness and compliance with all applicable safety procedures and regulations.

  • Must be fluent in English
  • Must possess US passport book with at least 12 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining
  • Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity
