Job Summary

  • Oversee and monitor activities of assigned projects and ensure implementation are according to project requirements and contractual obligation

  • Perform as Project Manager - coordinate the work of the project team through liaison with other professionals; monitor the work of staff allocated to specific projects, ensuring the technical competence and performance meets the requirements of allocated projects, and deliveries are on time and budget

  • Write and review technical reports of assigned projects and studies

  • Supervise staff, which includes work allocation, training, and problem resolution; performance evaluation and recommendation for personnel actions; motivation of employees to achieve peak productivity and performance

  • Recommend improvements to increase the efficiency and productivity of staff

  • Assist in the development of policies and procedures for the team

  • Ensure that program and profit objectives are met; assist with reporting, billing and monitoring of variations in a timely manner

  • Ensure the relevant QA procedures are followed

  • Perform job-related miscellaneous duties that may be assigned

  • Carry out duties in accordance with quality and environmental management system, health and safety policies and procedures

  • Report quality, environmental, health and safety problems or any suggestions to his/her immediate superior

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in positions of similar capacity, preferably in consultancy environments

  • Good knowledge in civil related regulation, standards and reference of design

  • Experienced in leading a team, and managing both public and private projects of various scales

  • Prior experience in water related projects is highly desirable

  • Excellent technical writing and presentation skills

  • Good interpersonal and communication abilities with different professional levels within organizations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant discipline
