The GBS Supply Chain Material Program Manager (MPM) is a strong leader with demonstrated project management skills, must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and business objectives within a matrix environment, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management, and perform flawlessly as the liaison between the business supply chain organizations and GBS supply chain. This position must be able to lead and influence without direct reporting relationships in addition to managing a small team of supply chain professionals performing supplier management.
The MPM will support GBS SC by working closely with the procurement professionals within the Raytheon Enterprise Procurement Services (REPS) team collaborating and supporting supply chain strategies and plans in accordance with program requirements including support as required for front end of the business supply chain proposal activities through contract closure. The position requires an individual who will be able to exert influence and have an effect on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the business.
The GBS Supply Chain MPM will act as a single point of contact for business supply chain organizations and represent the Supply Chain organization on policies, strategies and objectives, supply chain activities needed to meet program requirements. This role will also work to ensure a strong link within and between various Supply Chain functions which could include Sourcing, Logistics, and Production Control. The GBS Supply Chain MPM is acknowledged as a subject matter expert on all supply chain processes and the impact on enterprise operations.
•Minimum of 10 years of’ combined experience within supply chain, operations, or project management
•Must possess demonstrated project management skills and be a proven problem solver
•Experience working on an Integrated Product Team (IPT)/Cross functional team
•Superior communication skills, leadership abilities, negotiation skills and the ability to lead in a matrixed/ Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment experience
•Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with macros, vertical lookups and charting / graphing is a plus
•Understand contract flow down requirements and how to filter those out specific to supply chain
•Candidate must be able to travel occasionally
•Experience utilizing forecasting methodologies
•Experience working interdependently across business areas and supporting Cross Business Teams
•Ability to collaborate with the Subcontract Administrator to develop statements of work (SOW) that are complete and conform to program requirements
•Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Certified
•Strong financial and business acumen
•Strong presentation skills. History of presentations to senior level management is a plus
•Previous experience as a Material Program Manager
