Raytheon IIS has multiple Software Engineering Internship opportunities available beginning Summer 2020 for College Sophomore, Junior and Seniors. The selected students will provide support to some or all areas of software engineering including design, code, integration, and test. Assist in analyzing problems and developing solutions. Participate in technical reviews and documentation efforts. Assigned tasks are dependent customer and/or project requirements. Additional support and administrative tasks may also be assigned.
These positions will also include use of the latest technologies, architectures, and tools to enhance software reliability and reusability and increase productivity.

Required Skills:

· Strong leadership and communication skills
· Customer focus and collaboration skills
· Interest in software development including requirements, design, code, integration, test, and documentation
· Knowledgeable in C, C++, C#, or Java programming languages
· Knowledge of MS Office or other presentation tools
· This position requires the ability to access systems that contain information restricted to US Citizens based on certain Federal Government contractual requirements

Desired Skills:
· Preferred GPA of 3.2 or greater is desired (Please include your transcript with your resume)
· Knowledge of MS Office or other presentation tools
· Previous Software/Engineering projects or internship experience
Required Education (including Major):
· Must have obtained Sophomore, Junior or Senior status as of Summer 2020
· Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.

This position can be Salary Grade ST02, Salary Grade ST03, or Salary Grade ST04 based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

  • ST02 (TechStudent-Sophomore) – must have completed 30 hours of college credits towards degree and obtained Sophomore status as of Summer 2020.
  • ST03 (TechStudent–Junior) – must have completed 60 hours of college credits towards degree and obtained Junior status as of Summer 2020.
  • ST04 (TechStudent-Senior) – must have completed 90 hours of college credits towards degree and obtained Senior status as of Summer 2020.

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
