As a Strategic Finance Manager, you will ensure Raytheon's Secure Sensor Solutions development initiatives and projects are aligned on both business case and proposal strategy; serving as the finance bridge with Business Development, Program Leads, Estimating & Pricing, Operations, Engineering and Customer Insights teams. You will develop and effectively present proforma financial models, proposal strategy, business cases, and be accountable for explanations on assumptions and methodologies to both internal and external parties. You will also assist the strategy lead in organizational support activities.
This role will have significant visibility and will interact at the Sr. Manager and Sr. Director levels. Influential and effective written and verbal communication will be required.
This role will require:
•Help develop and manage advanced financial models, business cases and proposal strategies for Raytheon's government and commercial developments & RFPs
•Build and manage client and customer partnerships through out the organization and serve as SME for various investments and pursuits activities
•Be directly involved in the proposal strategy process, develop discounted cash flow models, ROI, IRR, NPV, waterfall and other sensitivity analysis etc.
•Prepare investment summaries and proposal support guidelines for potential transactions
•Ability to summarize large amounts of data from many interfaces, present and explain key financial assumptions, variables and ability to formulate and present a recommendations to various levels of stakeholders
•Support in the research, benchmarking and analysis of aerospace and S3 products in US and International markets
•A broad business-oriented thinker with an enterprise perspective who can manage and deliver on multiple priorities
•In depth understanding of color of money policy, accounting principles
•Financial experience in the aerospace industry (preferred)
•Highly advanced in analysis, modeling, and computing complex problems/projects in Excel (e.g. use of financial functions, database and search functions, pivot tables)
•Experience in building complex financial models (business model preparation, calculation of return on investment, return on capital employed)
•Knowledge and understanding of investment criteria and proposal process in the aerospace & radar market
•Experience with SAP and BW a plus

Required Experience and Education:
•Minimum 8 years in financial analysis or related field preferred; Investments and proposal experience preferred
•BA/BS Business in Finance, Economics, Business—MBA preferred
•Prior experience in Aerospace is preferred but not required
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems. Must be able to obtain security clearence within a year
