The Whole Life Engineering Directorate (WLED) is made up of several disciplines whose main objectives include; Influencing systems early in their life cycle to assure effective operation, reliability, maintainability and economical ownership by the customer/end user; providing affordable, best in class, life cycle sustainment services after system deployment.
As a Sr. Engineering Logistics Specialist, you’ll be responsible for Customer partnering and engineering management in one or more of the following areas:
Engineering Change Proposals (ECP)
Coordinate Activities with clear communication to DFS, IPT, PMO and USG
Share knowledge of Patriot System across multiple programs
Identify work instructions on Kit Installation and Support Equipment
Prepare and Present metrics, status, and logistics systems status at internal management reviews
Provide Sustainment insight regarding training or manuals
Develop and administrate maintenance plans
Identify team skills and experience gaps, ensure training requirements are complete
This position requires an Active US Secret security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
6+ years of experience in logistics support, machine maintenance or manufacturing
Experience with equipment or machinery maintenance
US Citizenship is required
Currently possess a Secret Clearance (DoD)
Patriot System (General Military Systems) product knowledge and/or experience
Maintenance or MIR experience
Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a team, inspiring confidence in others
Knowledge and application of logistics principles
Self-initiative, strong written and oral communication skills and team player
International travel required - to include potential deployment for 6 – 9 months
Experience in the deployment planning of sustainment resources for OCONUS fielded systems
Excellent communication skills
Experience in program planning, budgeting, and tracking (EVMS) to cost and schedule
Experience in planning/executing field system maintenance and transportation of associated support resources to global locations
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements
Demonstrated ability to influence through teaming and collaboration
Elevated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, general proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree. 8 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree
