Become an integral part of a diverse team in the Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) Group.  Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission oriented CNO Developer in the Hanover, MD area, with strong Customer relationships.  At ManTech, you will help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.
 

The National Security Solutions (NSS) Division provides cyber solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations. Our customers have high standards, are technically adept, and use our products daily to support their mission of protecting national security. Our contributions to our customer’s success is driving our growth.

Provides design ideas for new capabilities or recommendations for improvements to existing capabilities.Expert knowledge of multiple programming languages such as C/C++, assembly (e.g. x86, ARM, MIPS), Python, or PERL.Familiar with multiple software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, TDD, Waterfall).Expert level knowledge of security concepts, networks, device drivers, & system internals are applied in daily tasks.Expert knowledge in at least one technology area (e.g. Windows, Unix, Mobile, Network devices).Communicates status with leadership and customers. Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.Provides solutions to a variety of complex technical problems. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming. Ensures software standards are met. Leads the design, development, documenting, testing and debugging of applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Able to lead a project developing hardware or software based CNO capabilities providing direction to other CNO developers. Plans and conducts assignments, generally involving the larger and more important projects or more than one project.

May be considered a Lead. Independently verifies the quality of CNO capabilities. Provides daily guidance to other QA engineers. Develops and executes test plans adding value via discovering edge conditions, regression testing planning, component, and end-to-end system tests. Skills include application of CNO knowledge, programming (e.g. C/C++) and scripting. Scripts (e.g. Python) can be for independent testing or for automated testing environments. Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects. Provides solutions to a variety of complex technical problems.

Requirements:

  • Strong Python skills, including experience
  • Delivering Python-based products, e.g. command-line utilities for end-user use
  • Using/integrating Python's logging framework
  • In OO design and development in Python
  • Networking in Python
  • Comfortable working within collaborative work environments and associated tools, including
  • Working within a team
  • Using version control systems
  • Using work tracking/ticketing systems
  • Participating in code review processes and systems
  • C Skills
  • Writing and building small C products
  • Reading and understanding C code
  • Familiarity with common build tooling (make, CMake, Autotools)
  • Bachelor's degree

Clearance Required:

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph


Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of software test methodology, including
  • Delineation between unit tests, system test, integration tests
  • Specifying and implementing tests at different testing levels
  • Experience in Python with:
  • Using/extending Python's unittest framework
  • Crossplatform development
  • Using multithreading/multiprocessing paradigms in products
