Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Staff Systems Administrator to join our team in Oxnard, CA area to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.  The selected individual will be embedded in the customer environment and will be supporting secure systems for a dynamic customer mission.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide tier 1and tier 2 support to multiple LANs and standalones
  • Perform all required daily, weekly, monthly, annual O&M
  • Perform SOP documentation updates to support IT activities
  • Perform patching per patch management schedule
  • Collect metrics in ticketing system to ensure key metrics are met for system administration
  • Serve as primary tier 1 and phone support to customers' IT needs (majority of work is Tier 2)
  • Ensure secure baselines are applied to relevant workstations and servers
  • Create detailed requirements engineering and capability backlog.
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders to deliver state of the art customer service
  • Engineer, document, and deliver the information system solutions through all stages of SDLC
  • Diagnose and resolve the complex performance, security, and/or technical challenges related to the platforms listed below
  • Responsible for investigating and resolving operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel
  • Provide IT Systems Admin support on a wide range of technologies, including: Windows 10, Hyper-V, Windows Server 2012 R2/2016, Active Directory, SAN, encryption technology,

Position requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or Math) or equivalent job experience, and 2-4 years of related experience
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
  • IT certifications a plus
  • Knowledge of latest Microsoft technology
  • Knowledge of latest Hyper-V technology a plus
  • Knowledge of SAN technology a plus
  • Knowledge of Cisco technology a plus
  • Risk Management Framework experience a plus
  • Valid US Driver’s License
  • Up to 5% travel

Security Requirements:
US Citizenship and active TS/SSBI clearance adjudicated within the previous 6 years
