Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems is seeking a Mission Assurance Lead to support processes that deliver compliant systems and specific customer quality requirements throughout program lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities may include:

  • Provide Mission Assurance (MA) support on a Program
  • Utilize a Quality Assurance System and specific customer quality flow-down requirements throughout proposal and program lifecycles.
  • Support the communication of program goals, objectives, requirements and customer feedback.
  • Collect and maintain MA metrics.
  • Process customer corrective action requests.
  • Understand the impact of potential customer escapes.
  • Support Program Corrective Action Board (CAB) to meet measures and metrics from leadership reviews.
  • Support independent reviews and assessments of program performance
  • Support Quality and Program planning in order to assist in the administration of customer and internal quality requirements for Raytheon program teams and supply base.
  • Act as the voice of the customer to independently assure mission success.
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Secret Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality or Engineering
  • Application and adherence to Quality Management Systems IS0 9001 and AS9100.
  • Working knowledge of Industry and Government Mission Assurance Requirements and Standards.
  • Ability to collaborate with program team members to develop practical solutions to complex problems.
  • Experience in predictive and proactive measures and metrics assessments and leading actions to improve performance or mitigate problems.
  • Practical knowledge of systems engineering, reliability and system safety requirements
  • The ability to maintain positive relationships with program management, cross-functional program leadership, suppliers, customers and government representatives.
  • Experience in supporting External and Internal Quality System or Product/Process audits.
Desired Skills:
  • ASQ Quality Certification.
  • Mission Assurance Cert HW Quality Level 5.
  • Prior experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry.
  • Working knowledge of Raytheon RCAS or a proven close- loop corrective action system.
  • Raytheon Six Sigma Specialist or Industry Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Required Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or Quality
