Job Title:  Business Sustainment Senior Logistics Analyst

Overview/ Job Responsibilities:

The Senior Logistics Analyst for Business Sustainment will assist as needed with the acquisition and sustainment strategies for the F-35 weapon system. The incumbent will also evaluate and recommend performance based Warfighter metrics to meet services’ and partner nations’ unique operational and supportability scenarios. Additionally, the incumbent will develop business case and cost benefit analysis on an as needed basis, as well as perform trade studies in support of the business case analysis. 

  • Evaluate the JSF prime contractor for technical accuracy, feasibility and best value.
  • Develop acquisition and sustainment strategies in accordance with DoD 5000 series guidelines using best commercial practices and cutting edge support concepts.
  • Review and provide recommendations on contracting options to include performance-based incentive fees and cost sharing for contractor under-runs.  Inherently governmental responsibilities versus those tasks that can be transferred to a contractor shall be identified.
  • Provide report identifying the model assumptions, findings, results and recommendations based on studies, reviews, and analysis.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience
  • B.S/B.A Degree
  • An additional four (4) years of directly related work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Secret/SAR eligible
  • Proven experience in using complex Microsoft Excel formulas
  • DoD Acquisition experience
  • Knowledge of interpreting Contractor provided Basis Of Estimate (BOE) and the ability to analyze and customize the BOE’s to interface/integrate with existing JPO Systems
  • Ability to integrate data sources from Contractor and JPO into a customized analytical format using Microsoft Office Products
