Summary of team:
Opportunity for a Hardware Quality Engineer with hands-on hardware quality experience to become a key part of Operations Quality in a busy and growing Manufacturing Facility. Here at Raytheon, our Operations Quality Team assures product and process quality with an emphasis on Product Compliance, Customer Satisfaction and Continuous Improvement.
As a Hardware Quality Engineer II, you’re a key member of the production value stream. The scope of your responsibilities will include process planning, inspection and test methodology, Non-Conforming Material Control, issue resolution and product acceptance. In addition, you’ll be involved with defect prevention through data analysis and effective execution of Root Cause Analysis and associated Corrective Action Implementation.
In this high visibility role, you’ll also be a key member of cross-functional teams, bringing your Quality Science skills and expertise to drive issue resolution and process improvement. In addition, you’ll have regular interface with internal (DCMA) and external (DoD/MDA) customers. This position also includes production floor support to address process and supplier issues at all levels.
This role will require obtaining a secret clearance.
This position can be a Salary Grade G07 or Salary Grade G08 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.
This is a 2nd Shift Opportunity.
