The Whole Life Engineering Department is seeking a strong engineer to manage hardware and software systems development programs. The person in this role must be experienced in leading proposal preparation / capture, task definition and control, resource assignment, cost, schedule, and performance management and customer interface and will plan and schedule tasks and manage budgets associated with those tasks. The engineer must provide strong team leadership and ensure the team is performing at a high level. This role must work with the team to provide design influence for supportability on the program and work with other Engineering disciplines and Program Management to solve logistics related technical problems. Other key duties include: Provide customer interface support, review program and customer requirements and identify additional areas where team can support customer goals, generate and present customer level briefings as required, and provide the technical supervision and integration of functional organizations during contract performance.

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience
  • Proposal Lead / Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead experience, detailed knowledge of ILS concepts, and past proficiency in Technical Manual, Training Curriculum, and Provisioning development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, as are organizational capabilities and strong problem solving capabilities.
  • Candidate will possess good written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

Desired Skills:
  • Writing experience including development of technical proposals, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plans and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) plans.
  • Understanding of logistics product differences between US services (Army, Air Force, Navy, USMC).
  • Development of Maintenance Allocation Charts (MAC) and Depot Maintenance Work Records (DMWRS) is a plus. Knowledge of standing up a Depot and 24/7 Field Sustainment is desired.
  • Experience with site surveys and field installation.
  • Current DoD Secret Clearance.
