The CIDS Finance program has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Financial Analyst. This position is a new role on the program that will be a high visibility position requiring vision and leadership to work across functions to help implement and improve material processes within the program. The material analyst will be the financial point of contact and subject matter expert for the program’s material position across all CIDS contracts and will be responsible for implementing process improvements that allow the program to better understand and manage a complex and constantly changing material picture.

Recurring activities include:

  • Understand, validate, and manage the coordination of the material position across all CIDS program contracts
  • Develop weekly reports to help analyze and understand program material movements
  • Lead various material review meetings with stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Coordinate the development of the material portion of the program’s quarterly Estimates At Complete (EACs)
  • Provide training and mentorship to other CIDS financial analysts on material systems and processes
  • Weekly and monthly cost reporting to program management
  • Trend and variance analysis to plan
  • Material Forecasting

Minimum Required Skills:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting , Finance, Math or a related field and a minimum 6 years of experience in a finance related field
  • Significant demonstrated financial experience on large production contracts
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in Raytheon material processes including PRISM, PRISM EV, and grouping, pegging, and distribution (GPD)
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel utilizing extremely large data sets (pivot tables, advanced formulas, graphing, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience with APEX (SAP) and Business Warehouse (BW)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to communicate effectively with peers and leadership

  • Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
  • Ability to demonstrate effective communication and organization skills
  • Advanced data analysis and mathematical skills are preferred
