Raytheon IIS/GIS provides Operations and Maintenance support for the Intelligence Community
Raytheon is currently seeking a Mgr III Information Systems Technology to assist the O&M IPT Lead in leading and supervising the Tier 2 team whose charter is to maintain high priority operational systems at a high level of availability and resolving problems based on mission criticality and guidance. The Tier 2 team is geographically diverse, with 22 team members at 7 locations worldwide. Duties and responsibilities include:
Provide team leadership, focusing on the budget and schedule activities, including Cost Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities and daily team tasking.
Provide personnel supervision and management for a geographically diverse team. Tasks include conducting supervisor reviews, providing compensation recommendations and conducting all required RTN leader driven training.
Hiring Tier 2 staff, working with Raytheon Talent Acquisition to review resumes. Interview candidates and support on-boarding efforts for new employees.
Program liaison to the international HR team. Working to support team members on international assignment.
Provide oversight and guidance to entry/junior level system maintainers
Responsible for interacting with the customer in both the customer program monthly reviews and in bi-weekly program meetings.
Represent Tier 2 on the program leadership team. Coordinate with other cross product team (CPT) leads on program activities that require cross program coordination.
Must have experience leading a technical team. Ability to define team tasking, hold team accountable, track tasks to completion and report on those completions to both internal and customer leadership.
Must have Raytheon CAM certification or complete certification within the first 90 days on the program.
Must have a BS Degree in a related technical discipline and minimum of 12 years’ experience with software application maintenance on systems running a variety of operating systems to include UNIX and Linux
Must have excellent communication skills to effectively and accurately exchange information across a multi-location enterprise, with customer visibility, into maintainer-based actions and responses
Must have the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
Must be available to work after hours on a call-in basis
Supervisory experience, including holding bi-annual performance review discussions and assisting in compensation decisions.
Previous Control Account Manager experience
Previous experience working with RTN HR partners to support international assignments for team members.
