SAS / ACT is seeking an enthusiastic and highly capable Information Systems Technologist to support Mac, Windows and UNIX computer systems and networks for MDA flight testing, including mission-planning, data collection and exploitation.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 6 years related experience
  • Experience in Defense Industry
  • Hands-on expertise with
    • Airborne computer Hardware and Software and their DoD requirements
    • Missile Defense Agency Test Events, Mission-Planning, flight testing
  • Availability for Frequent off-site work, including deployments to test ranges in Southern California and PMRF (Kauai).
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with classified heterogeneous (Mac/UNIX/Windows) LAN for data ingestion, exploitation and display.
  • Experience with deployment and operation of EO systems for Range Safety.
  • Experience in leading certification and accreditation efforts for industry and government systems
  • Experience in field-deployed UAV operations, preferably with MQ-9 or MQ-1, and multi-sensor airborne manned or UAV integration.
  • Shell scripting
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to work effectively in the field, with a small team, to develop and implement solutions in the field on a tight schedule.

Required Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
