Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a part-time, on-call ESA Biologist Specialist to assist in major pursuits and projects working out of the Oakland, CA office.

Candidates will

  • Provide technical expertise on Endangered Species Act (ESA) consultations under Section 7 with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS).

  • Review programmatic consultation documents.

  • Assist in complex ESA consultations and multi-agency coordination.

Minimum Requirements

BA / BS in Biology, Ecology or related field with 12+ years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior knowledge and experience with Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and ESA consultations related to that program.
