The AECOM Environment Business Line is hiring a Geologist to work on field assignments based out of our office in Fresno, CA.
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Sampling of environmental media (soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, etc.)
Oversight for the installation of soil borings
Oversight for installation of unconsolidated and consolidated aquifer wells
Pumping test implementation
Development of reports, correspondence and various other documents
Bachelors degree in Geology or GeoSciences with 2+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency
of experience and/or education.
Must have a valid U.S. Driver's license.
Must be able to perform field work as required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Geologist working on the investigation and remediation of contaminated sites
Strong communication skills.
40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER Training
