The Retail Innovation Group (part of the Shopper Marketing team) plays a critical role in fulfilling a key objective of maximizing Conagra in-store merchandising and communications presence - enhancing the shopping experience. This role is directly responsible for leading project management and execution for impactful and innovative Brand and Customer In-Store Solutions. They direct vendors and agencies to ideate and design in-store solutions to meet business (brand/sales) objectives. The role is responsible for financial evaluation and creative development for In-Store Solution projects. The role links with cross-functional partners, i.e. packaging, master data and supply chain. Key interfaces include Brand, Sales, Global Marketing, Business Development, Business Planning, Packaging, Supply Chain, Finance and Procurement.
Responsibilities:
Lead the in-store plan development for designated brands
Develop in-store innovation agenda designed to drive new innovative approaches, capabilities and solutions
Working with cross functional partners, drives analysis of overall in-store trends and determine implications to Conagra Brands
Responsible for driving process development for new capabilities
Lead ideation, evaluation, planning and execution of in-store solutions
Leverage brand / customer objectives along with category, consumer and shopper insights to develop effective in-store solutions
Manage creative development to ensure shopper communication delivers against set objectives
Work with Shopper Marketing to influence brand / customer to provide synergistic in-store solutions that achieve plan objectives
Drive financial discipline on projects, ensuring choices drive our agenda/strategy, maximize efficiencies and meet set requirements
Ability to write and present effective creative and design briefs to suppliers and agencies
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree required, MBA strongly preferred
7+ years of project management experience and have worked in minimum of the two of the following areas (sales, brand management/marketing, shopper marketing, merchandising, promotions, business development, category management, supply chain)
Consumer packaged goods experience required, ideally in an environment where in-store marketing was a critical part of the marketing mix
Successful prior experience working with brand management and sales teams to translate objectives and strategies into in-store solutions
Experience with project management and process development
Proven ability to multi-task and organize projects
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to drive insights to action
Strong understanding of key retailer in store practices
Financial acumen/P&L management experience
Technical Ability (Microsoft Office, especially Excel) drive speed to your work
Thrives in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
