AECOM has an opportunity for a highly qualified Knowledge Manager to work closely with information owners, HQ USINDOPACOM Directorates, Systems Staff, Network Staff and Cybersecurity staff to ensure system/application operations and security is achieved, maintained and reported accurately for HQ USINDOPACOM networks.

This position is for a four month project in support of the USINDOPACOM Command, Control, Communications, and Cyber Directorate (J6) at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.

The candidate for this position will support the Commandâ??s knowledge management, information sharing and collaboration capabilities by conducting knowledge management assessments in order to baseline existing processes, information management platforms, applications and systems and to determine more efficient and effective alternatives.

This candidate will also assist in the development and documentation of processes and procedures needed to support the Command's information sharing and collaboration environment which will include SharePoint business analysis to identify gaps in processes, identifying opportunities for improvements, capturing requirements, creating mockups, and assist in implementation and training.

Specific Tasks:

Support the planning and implementation of appropriate technical approaches for the re-architecture of the USINDOPACOM SIPR Portals. Specific focus areas will be the planning and implementation of Identity Management, content lifecycle management and enhanced user navigation and search access to relevant information.

Review the current portal implementation and develop recommendations for migrating to the re-architected USINDOPACOM SIPR Portal solution.

Provide consultative support to USINDOPACOM Directors, Divisions and Branch Chiefs, project leads, and/or staff members on an ad-hoc basis; conduct coordination with external knowledge management related agencies and activities to complete project milestones and deliverables; and perform knowledge management duties as directed to support USINDOPACOM staff during contingency operations and exercises.

Support the maturation of Knowledge Management at HQ USPACOM by using the USPACOM KM maturity model as a foundation and recommending and implementing changes in the culture that enhance knowledge sharing.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.


Minimum Requirements

    Must have a Bachelorâ??s Degree (or equivalent work experience).

    A minimum of 10 years of total experience in Knowledge Management, Business Process Re-engineering/Applications Analysis and/or DoD military operations planning.

    Experience in SharePoint Content and Site Management.

    Experience in SharePoint Information Architecture.

    Experience with IT project management, preferably in a DoD environment.

    Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project and Visio) in preparing analytical reports, information papers, and briefings for executive level

    IAW DoD 8570.01-M, must meet IAM III certification minimum qualifications.

    Due to the nature of the work, must be a U.S. citizen

    Must have an active Top Secret security clearance and be SCI eligible.
