The Electrical Component Technologies Department is looking for individuals to support the circuit card design process by selecting, specifying, and determining application adherence for electrical components. Individuals will interface with multiple internal stakeholders and external suppliers to develop component risk and verification data packages that will support component selections and provide justification to program customers. Component Engineers will identify parts to be included on the preferred parts list, drive usage of these standardized parts, provide recommendations to mitigate obsolescence issues, and identify solutions to meet customer component requirements. Team members will be exposed to all phases of the circuit card lifecycle from development through production and will present their findings through program design reviews.
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement.
