Job Summary

We now have opportunities for Assistant Inspectors of Works and Inspectors of Works, Electronics to join AECOM where you will be seconded out to the Hong Kong Airport to assist in the supervision of the existing infrastructure and terminal facilities enhancement works or new capital works projects. You will help to ensure projects are delivered safely, timely and in compliance with specified requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out site survey and checking in design stage, inspect site works and monitor site progress in construction stage

  • Review Contractors’ drawings proposals and material submissions for conformity with the relevant Works Contracts.

  • Resolving site problems and drawing ambiguities which may arise to enable works to continue and to be carried out timely.

  • Manage T&C and handover of completed works

  • Handle daily coordination to facilitate carrying out of site works

  • Perform overnight duties may be required.

Minimum Requirements

The Assistant Inspector of Works – Electronics shall be:

  • A holder of a Diploma / Higher Certificate in Electronics Engineering

  • Possess not less than 4 years of relevant working experience in site supervision and monitoring of relevant engineering construction.

  • Working Experience in project management and site supervision of Baggage Handling System and/or Material handling System would be an advantage.

The Inspector of Works – Electronics shall be:

  • A holder of a Diploma / Higher Certificate in Electronics Engineering

  • Possess a minimum of 8 years relevant working experience in site supervision and monitoring of relevant engineering construction.

  • Have of a Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker for LV electrical installations.

  • Preferably be experienced working under a live operating environment.

  • Working Experience in project management and site supervision of Baggage Handling System and/or Material handling System would be an advantage.

A competitive salary with a 5-day work week will be offered with the opportunity to jump straight onto a live project at the Hong Kong Airport. This appointment will be made on a renewable contract basis.
