Overview / Job Responsibilities:

The F-35 Lightning II Program (also known as the F-35 JPO) is a joint, multi-national program and is the Department of Defense's (DoD) focal point for defining affordable next generation strike aircraft weapon systems among the USAF, USN, USMC, and U.S. (United States) allies composed of eight cooperative international partners: the United Kingdom, Italy, Netherlands, Turkey, Canada, Australia, Denmark, Norway and Security Cooperative Participant (SCP), Israel and Singapore, and Japan. The programâ??s objective is to develop and deploy the F-35 Air System (AS), a three (3) variant family of highly common and affordable 5th Generation strike fighter aircraft that meets the operational needs of the USAF, USN, USMC, and cooperative partner international services. The F-35 Program carries the status of a Major Command (MAJCOM) and is a Secretary of Defense (SecDef) directed program. It is a DoD Acquisition Category (ACAT) 1D program, thus the Defense Acquisition Executive (DAE) is the Milestone Decision Authority (MDA).

The position will report to the Cost and EVM Directorate and provide support to various JPO Integrated Program Teams including, but are not limited to, Mission Systems, Specialty Engineering, Air Vehicle, Propulsion, and Logistics and Support Products.

The Air Vehicle Senior Scheduler shall analyze scheduling practices and understand the health of the IMS. The contractor shall work with EVM Analysts to relate schedule and cost variances. The Air Vehicle Senior Scheduler shall generate analysis reports and provide critical issues to F-35 leadership. The contractor shall assist in supporting program office leads and management by providing critical results for Estimates at Completion (EAC) forecasts. The Senior Scheduler shall possess a SECRET clearance. The position is a key position and the candidate's resume most be approved by the goverment prior to an offer of employment can be made.

It is required that the Air Vehicle Senior Scheduler possesses the following qualifications:

B.A or B.S. in Business, Management, Engineering, or other quantitative field.
Seven (7) years of relevant Acquisition Program experience, all seven (7) of those years in Schedule Analysis on MDAP or other industry equivalent.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; primarily Excel and PowerPoint, and Project.
Demonstrated experience presenting to Flag Officers and Senior Civilians.
Working knowledge of Primavera software.
Provide recommendations for schedule inputs into the Estimates at Complete (EAC) process.
Requires mastery of scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or equivalent toolset.
