DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, direct, and supervise all project activities included within the scope of a multi-disciplinary vertical construction design project.
Manage and lead the overall project including technical, financial, and client relationship.
Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the design and/or construction management activities and the management of project personnel under her/his direction on a day-today basis.
Establish scope, work plan and work schedule and ensure this is communicated to Project Staff and Department Managers.
Must have a thorough understanding of the responsibilities to both AECOM and the client as set forth by the project contractual agreement.
Develop, implement and administer operational procedures, controls and administrative systems necessary to meet contractual obligations.
Assure conformance with contractual obligations by ensuring that all specifications, drawings and other work is reviewed and approved prior to release to the client.
Ensure that project execution is conducted within budget and on schedule. Interface with clients on schedules, meetings and issues.
Advise senior management of the project status on a regular basis.
Anticipate potential schedule or priority delays and initiate plans for alternative actions.
Assist in marketing and participate in proposal writing and project acquisition.
Monitor performance vs. budget and develop budget correction strategies.
Train, mentor and develop staff.
Maximize project profit while minimizing risk. Ensure that QA/QC procedures are being implemented and followed at all phases of a project in accordance with AECOM’s Quality Assurance Program procedures
Manages one or more very complex project, involving a combination of the following:
Clients with a national geographic footprint; OR,
Projects involving a full spectrum of services offered by IE; OR,
Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.
Manages all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).
as consenting and regulatory authority for approvals.
Manages other Project Managers.

Bachelor's degree in related subject or equivalent experience.
4 years of relevant experience
Candidate has successfully managed small to midsize projects. Provides direction and guidance to staff members of varied functions.
Should provide guidance and process as well as financial management to sub-consultants.
Makes decisions with an understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and to accomplish deadlines.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Strong technical skills.
Knowledge of computer based project management systems including financial, scheduling, collaboratin and design review applications.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsive to changing demands.
Strong leadership and team building skills.
Flexibility of methods.
Ability to work under pressure
Architectural or Engineering licensing is preferred
PMP Certification an advanced
Preferred 12-15 years of related experience, 7 years of which are in a project leadership role.
