Job Description:

Training & Logistics Services is looking for a Control Account Manager (CAM) to join our Program Execution & Process Control team. The Control Account Manager (CAM) will participate in the control of costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.

Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. Participates in the preparation of budgets and schedules for all contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.

Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of
expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government. Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.

Responsibilities also include analysis and development of programmatic financial reporting requirements including Manpower Planning, Variance Analysis, Estimates To Complete (ETC), weekly and monthly monitoring of actual costs incurred against budgeted projects, preparation of Management Review Packages, and involvement with special projects.

There will also be some interaction with, and exposure to, management. Expedite monthly Program Reviews and EAC (Estimates at Completion). Assist in data collection and analysis for manpower and Program forecasting. Run cost and labor reports for the Programs as required. Develop and/or review Basis of Estimates, Greensheets and Senior Management Cost Reviews (SMCR). Assist Program Engineer in the collection, documentation and submittal to the organization of historical program data. Perform Ad-hoc financial analysis upon request.

Required Skills:

At least 2 years of related business experience working with contracts and programs, preferably DOD or government.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong PC skills- MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
- Team player who has the ability to work cross functionally and with all levels of the organization
- Ability to quickly learn new software and skills such as SAP/ APEX.
- EVMS certification

Desired Skills:

R6S Certification, knowledge of PMX system

Required Education (including Major):

2+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field
