Logistics Analyst, Staff

As a Logistics Analyst, Staff, you will be responsible for contributing across a variety of logistics related disciplines.  You will be expected to provide expertise in equipment accountability in accordance with Department of Defense procedures as well as demonstrate hands-on skills and abilities on a regular basis.  The Logistics Analyst will integrate within teams of divergent skillsets in performing discrete tasks and projects within the National Capital Region, as well as potentially throughout the United States and overseas. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides logistics expertise while coordinating with diverse skillsets; provides input into warehouse operations.
  • Analyzes contractual commitments, customer specifications, and related information to identify and document maintenance and support requirements.
  • Reviews engineering designs and analyzes equipment characteristics.
  • Develops and prepares manuals, bulletins, and information systems to provide logistics
  • support.
  • Effects property inventories, equipment transfers, and accountability across a large portfolio
  • Provides recommendations with regards to best practices and develops new processes to increase performance and efficiency.
  • DA PAM 700-142


  • An active and current TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • Ability to travel 25-50% within the National Capital Region and occasional extended trips to locations within the US and overseas
