Develops plans including budgets. Acts as key technical expert on financial analysis issues, concerns, and special projects. Interfaces with top management, responding to their requests for financial data. Resolves reporting and compliance issues. Prepares special reports and financial studies for management and alerts them to significant variances to plan. Coordinates, negotiates, and resolves financial compliance issues with various governmental agencies to ensure accurate interpretation. Conducts and may Principal audits. May provide work leadership for lower level employees. ManTech is seeking a Program Financial Principal to support multiple programs under the DHS division within ManTech.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Perform complex financial analysis of budgets and schedules needed to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned program or programs.
  • Act as a key technical expert on financial analysis issues.
  • Coordinate, negotiate and resolve financial compliance issues with various governmental agencies to ensure accurate interpretation of contract requirements.
  • Establish and define program plan requirements for assigned work.
  • Coordinate interdepartmental development of program plans and interfaces with vendors and customers as required.
  • Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure that contractual cost and schedule objectives are met.
  • Direct monthly contract financial reporting activities with the Government and sub-contractors.

Job Qualifications:

  • Experience providing budgeting or financial support to government programs for a minimum of either four (4) years (with a Bachelor's Degree) or six (6) years (with an Associates Degree).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in some of the following:
  •                           Performing cost analysis
  •                           Reconciliation of accounts
  •                           Financial planning and forecasting
  •                           Budget analysis and execution
  •                           Formulating financial programs and budgets
  •                           Expenditure tracking
  •                           Creating and analyzing monthly, quarterly and yearly reports
  •                           Compiling and analyzing financial information
