As a Cyber professional on our project, you'll lead risk management efforts for Navy C4I systems. You'll work with in house teams, system developers, and system engineers to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to enable secure and effective solutions. We support customers by integrating secure practices like incorporating the appropriate security controls, managing risk, and ensuring policy enforcement. You'll be able to gain experience in DoD and DON Cybersecurity requirements while building piece of mind in a critical infrastructure.

Job Duties:
Work with customer to analyze and determine system requirements and safeguards
Develop DoD or Navy security authorization documentation and artifacts
Develop and communicate recommendations for incorporating security requirements in DoD systems
Perform validation and testing of security controls for DoD systems
Author papers on best practices using established Cybersecurity doctrine as well as self identified areas for risk mitigation and system improvement
Identify system vulnerabilities in critical C4I mission systems directly supporting the warfighter
Document findings in eMASS in preparation for ATO authorizations
Security Clearance REQUIRED:
Applicants selected for this position at a minimum will require an active DoD Secret clearance and background screening.
Skills and Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in the Cybersecurity, Cyber engineering, IT, or information assurance field
Experience with DoD authorization processes, including the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Knowledge of DoD security policies and requirements
Security+ CE or IAT Level II Certification
3+ years of experience with Cybersecurity or information assurance for DoD or Navy networks and systems
Experience with eMASS, developing DoD authorization artifacts or documentation, and processing an Authorization to Operate (ATO) for a Navy program
Experience with vulnerability assessment and scanning tools, including ACAS and assessing system compliance with security controls
Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
Knowledge of NIST 800-53 security controls
BS degree
CISSP or advanced Cybersecurity certification
Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) certification

This is a full-time position with days and hours of work from Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (subject to change), for a total of 40 hours per week.
