Job Description: Subject Matter Expert / Lead Manufacturing Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Member of Raytheon Polska Engineering staff based in Warsaw, Poland engaged across IFF antenna, Support Equipment and Launcher IPTs
  • Support partner development of Technical Data Package (TDP), and Manufacturing Data Package (MDP) optimization
  • Engage with Support Equipment partner transition from design to production
  • Support weld fixture development related to Launcher IPT
  • Support Test Readiness Review (TRR) and Ship Readiness Review (SRR) across multiple Polish partner companies
  • Evaluate Change Notice (CN) requests from partners to determine path forward
  • Requires extensive travel between Polish partners primarily based in Warsaw, Gdynia, Tarnow, and Rzeszow area.
  • Support Mission Assurance in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activity
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
This position is located in Poland on a three (3) year MOU.


Required Skills:
  • 8+ years of experience in production and/or engineering support environment related to Manufacturing Data Package creation
  • Experience with current manufacturing systems and processes
  • Experience in transition from design to production
  • Experience supporting international subcontractors in a production environment
  • Ability to work closely with a cross functional team, with representatives from Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Mission Assurance, IPT Leadership, Program Management teams
Desired Skills:
  • Fluency in Polish
  • Working knowledge or experience with Patriot Systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements
  • Experience in production of complex systems
  • Demonstrated technical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Security clearance
  • Proven Multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Advocate for process improvement, team builder and able to build strong relationships with partner and internal resources
Required Education (including Major):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations or equivalent
