The SAS HWEC AEWRS/NAV Department is seeking a Section Manager for Integrated Product Team Leads combined with a Proposal Manager who will guide the team leads of various programs from development into production and also be responsible for leading our departments proposals. The IPTL Section Manager part of the role will be to oversee the teams leads as they perform program start-up and execution taking responsibility for following IPDS as well as proper EV, EAC reporting, and guidance for preparing design reviews. The Proposal Manager will enable a consistent methodology, slide deck and BOEs for the department bids which will allow for a common bid strategy and lead to common processes for our products.

The IPTL Section Manager will ensure a cohesive well planned out execution of technical reviews such as the SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, MRR, CTI, and CTS presentations.
Required Skills:

  • At least 4 years of demonstrated project leadership including cost, schedule, and technical responsibility
  • At least 12 years of relative professional industry experience: participating in the design, development, and production
  • Experience developing and maintaining complex integrated master schedules
  • Experience with customer engagements, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with EX/IM regulations and working policies.
  • Ability to lead and manage a multi-discipline design team to successfully execute tasks and deliver high quality work products.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance with SSBI as of day one of employment.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.


Required Education:
A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent, in Electrical Engineering.

Desired Education:
A Master's degree or equivalent
