Job Description:
EO Innovations (EOI) is currently seeking a self-motivated Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) supporting the Manufacturing and Test Engineering (MTE) Team. The mission of the Engineering IPTL is to champion planning, coordination, and communication of the MTE team for EOI deliveries to SAS programs. The IPTL is responsible for ensuring the assigned team’s objectives are achieved on schedule, within budget, and consistent with quality and technical standards. The IPTL oversees execution on all aspects of the MTE team’s work products for the assigned.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Works with MTE leadership to establish thorough plan of execution to accomplish scope of work

  • Works with the Program Managers to understand program schedule (IMS) and milestones
  • Responsible for ensuring the associated work products from the MTE team are developed and delivered within the allotted cost, schedule and technical quality
  • Supports tailoring of MTE processes commensurate with programs cost/schedule
  • Coordinates with Program Control Account Managers (CAM) to provide detailed task description, budget and schedule requirements to the MTE organization and tracks task status to closure
  • Works with MTE leadership to ensure early identification, communication and mitigation of technical, cost and/or schedule risks for all aspects of the MTE product scope
  • Effectively communicates status to program and functional management including raising issues and risks as they are identified
  • Coordinating inputs from the MTE team for quote estimations, including identification of risks and opportunities
  • Proactively tracking and managing Engineering associated risks and opportunities
  • Collaborates with other Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Program Management throughout program execution to ensure the team’s product supports meeting system level requirements
  • Approves engineering products/deliverables: , requirements, designs,
  • Supports teammates and sub-contractors trades-studies and analysis and assists in make/buy decisions


Required Skills:

  • Can interpret Engineering prints to determine design requirements
  • Experience in leadership and execution of Engineering tasks in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication skills with a history of interfacing with customers.
  • Must have a strong ability to drive to closure issues, risks, opportunities, RCCAs
  • Must be able to work problems and shape solutions with customers (internal and external) from both a tactical and strategic perspective
  • Must be able to develop and leverage relationships with the customers (internal and external)
  • Experience leading complex programs or tasks
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, and other Microsoft products, especially in the collection, organization, processing, and presentation of data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desired Skills:
  • Technical understanding of assembly, alignment, and testing of Opto-mechanical assemblies
  • Understanding of Optics fabrication and/or Thin Film Coating
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Required Education (including Major):
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, and a minimum of 5 years electro-mechanical experience in high-technology field, such as defense, aeronautical, industrial, or equivalent
