Job Summary

This is a temporary position.

AECOM is now hiring for a qualified Production Control Clerk in Corpus Christi, Texas.

C.5.4.2.11 Production Controller. (CBA) (Blades) (Temporary)

Supports overhaul, repair, modification, manufacturing, and other processing on aircraft and/or aircraft parts, components, subassemblies, and assemblies; inducts repairable assets; communicates priorities; orders repair parts; moves parts in conjunction with the expediting function from one work area to another; kits for assembly; maintains inventory information on End-Item Work-In-Process (WIP) and repair parts; follows-up on requisitions and provides feedback to the direct labor worker needing the material; participates in monthly scheduling of workload in the shop; maintains overall control of the materials budget for each assigned program; prepares daily, weekly and monthly workload schedules considering status of work in progress, priorities, special projects, availability of materials, equipment, man-hours and technical data requirements; monitors status of WIP quantity, man-hours and cost in order to detect delays, identifies the cause of delays, and recommends corrective actions (e.g., changes in work flow or work procedures to reduce costs, promote efficiency, and/or increase production); gathers information regarding supplies, materials, equipment, manpower, and facilities requirements for potential or planned workload; participates with supply and parts management specialists for long-range planning of materials and/or parts; develops information needed for procurement of material, support equipment, allocation of man-hours and local manufacture of items; licensed to operate forklift to transport materials from and to customer work centers and/or staging areas.

Qualified candidates must possess experience with the US Army Logistics Modernization Program Increment 2 and current CCAD Rotor Blade Production Control processes to include:

  • Conducting review and analysis of program status and workload schedules for blade shop.

  • Request, induct, edits, and final sales of UH60 and other blade program assets.

  • Familiarity with blade shop assets to monitor and adjust stock on hand to meet scheduled program needs.

  • Familiarity with blade shop personnel to communicate orally or in writing with contacts in the branch/division.

  • Verification of blade shop asset serial and part numbers.

  • Confirmation of asset inductions and completions, and updating production orders to reflect delivery completion for UH60 program.

  • Counting incoming assets to verify receipts of items of shipment of receiving documents: UH60 main rotor blades, Air Force, UH64, Apache, Tail Rotors, UH-1M, tip caps, CH-47 blades.

  • Adjusting inventory counts and stock records of blade shop assets.

  • Knowledge of order maintenance, QDRS, and buy-outs.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

  • Two (2) years of job-related experience including basic computer operations skills is required.

  • Must be able to process routine reports.

  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
