Summary of team: The Global Front End of the Business organization is a cross-functional team including Engineering, Mission Assurance, Finance and Supply Chain that is committed to building purposeful supplier relationships, creating the foundation from which IDS will design and manufacture the highest quality and affordable systems. The SEAC team is a cross-Enterprise, cross-functional team led by Corporate to drive supplier performance and affordability across the preferred supply base covered by the SEAC team.
Supporting the GFEOTB organization by executing vision, ensuring supplier quality support of sourcing decisions, driving supplier development and continuous improvement.
Direct supervisory and performance management responsibility.
Establishing goals and metrics for team and ensuring team members are held accountable.
Leading the SQ strategy and execution in support of 3PL providers, Distributors, and other service type suppliers.
Leading the IDS SEAC supplier quality team, ensuring SEAC goals are met, oversight of supplier engagement planning and execution as well as driving continuous improvement with the Preferred Suppliers.
10+ years in quality engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain discipline
Experience in core Quality tasks (such as planning, control, improvement and Root Cause Corrective Action)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or a Technical Discipline.
8+ years leadership experience with presence and influence required to interface cross functionally and across business units.
Leadership skills to operate with minimal supervision, make decisions, communicate actions, set priorities and drive results
Strong presentation skills and proven success in communication to all level audiences
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to stay focused on goals, priorities and objectives with greatest business impact
Independent, self-motivated individual with strong decision making skills
Demonstrated success facilitating, leading and coaching continuous improvement project teams
Experience leading, managing, and partnering with suppliers to achieve mutual success utilizing indirect influenceRole model for Raytheon values and behaviors
Experience in DoD environment, especially as it pertains to supplying material to DOD contracts and the provisions of the FAR
Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and principles of Quality Management Systems
General knowledge of aerospace / defense products and systems technologies
Raytheon Six Sigma Principal Specialist, Expert-in-Training or Expert
MS or MBA
