Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a Program Management Support Specialist to provide programmatic support directly to a Division Chief Engineer for the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, VA. The position will be located at Dahlgren Naval Base.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

  1. Preparing complex and detailed technical documents and reports

  2. Updating and maintaining an action item database to include working with engineers to obtain data for and updates to action items

  3. Participating in Technical Progress and Design Reviews and program meetings

  4. Updating and maintaining a repository of technical documents and meeting minutes

  5. Provide inputs to and help consolidate presentation material


Minimum Requirements

  • Associates Degree or 2 additional years of experience in lieu of degree

  • Five (5) years of work-related experience demonstrating a technical understanding and ability to prepare complex and detailed technical documents and reports;

  • Skill set requires demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge of utilizing the Microsoft (MS) Office suite of products

  • Experience in processing complex and lengthy technical reports that include tables, graphs, charts, or multiple columns, participating in Technical Progress and Design Reviews and program technical meetings, and providing status and inputs to technical reports, white papers and meetings.

  • Minimum of an active Secret Clearance is required

  • Possibility of travel up to 10%.
