Job Summary

AECOM is hiring a Supply Chain Research Analyst to provide research analysis expertise for Trust and Assured Microelectronics. This individual must be fluent in Mandarin Chinese, both verbal and written. Participates as a team member as part of a larger project or may serve as a Task Leader on less complex tasks under the guidance of a Team Leader.

Essential Responsibilities:

1.Analyze and research material to gain a thorough technical understanding of a complex subject area supporting a task assignment. Task assignment may include one or more of the following analyses: strategic planning and analysis; demand and capacity analysis; economic analysis; regulatory analysis; safety and risk analysis; system operation performance analysis; and information analysis.

2.Prepare Oral presentations and written reports to management, indicating a solution or range of possible alternatives in the rank of desirability and probability of success when there is no single solution.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis using public records and open-source data, including social media.

  • Provide on-site client support, including but not limited to client inquiries, requests for ad hoc reporting, miscellaneous research, and advice on analytic methods.

  • Provide insightful, well-researched analysis of key analytic findings and guidance to clients with regard to supplying chain risk mitigation.

Participate as a member of the client’s analytical working group.

Minimum Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Security Clearance.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

  • 8 years previous work experience relating to research and analysis required

  • Experience using social media to support research and analysis; previous experience or familiarity with the social network and link analysis methods and software.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully conduct research and write analytical reports.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Must be fluent in Chinese (at least Mandarin) written and verbal language skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Foreign language skills (Russian, Korean, Filipino, French, Norwegian, Arabic)

  • Database management
